meet the base directors
Volley and Pam Tangiataua pictured here with their children Rachel, Joshua and Rebecca are the YWAM Cook Islands Directors since July 2018. Volley attended the first Cook Islands DTS in 1988 on his home Island of Mangaia. Then he went to Canada to share the love of God among the First Nation people. That is where Volley was exposed to the reality that there are people around the world who have never heard the name of Jesus. That revelation inspired Volley to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to those who are unreached. Volley then went to Singapore to further prepare which later lead him to Bangladesh. After serving with YWAM for almost 5 years he met Pam who was visiting with a prayer team. God brought them together and after they were married, God spoke to them to serve in Myanmar. After 18 years of serving in Myanmar, God called them to go back to the Cook Islands with their family to mobilize Pacific Islanders, to know God personally and to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the ends of the earth.
